A Healthy Sign: Mussels Return to Derby Creek!

It's an honor to serve a community that values our beautiful natural surroundings as much as we do in Easttown. As your supervisor, a key part of my mission has been to ensure we protect and enhance that environment for generations to come.

I'm proud of the concrete steps we've taken together to build a greener Easttown:

🌱 We established the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC), bringing passionate residents and experts to the table to guide our township's green initiatives.

🌳 Through our successful Tree Program, we are actively maintaining and strengthening the beautiful tree canopy that defines our neighborhoods.

💧 We've installed Rain Gardens as a smart, natural way to manage stormwater, reducing runoff and improving water quality.

And we are already seeing the incredible results of these efforts. For the first time in many years, mussels have been found re-established in Derby Creek—a true testament to a healthier local ecosystem! 🏞️

These initiatives are proof of our shared commitment to a sustainable future. There is always more work to do, and I hope to earn your support to continue building a healthier, greener Easttown for all of us.
